Finishing a film and sending it off into the world is a strange experience. After much debate and a few choice festival responses, I’ll be releasing my film online next month!
I’m thrilled to have had it selected for a few festivals so far:
Animage - Pernambuco, Brazil - Sept 26th!! (this is to be my premiere and I’m very sad I won’t be able to attend)
Cinanima - Espinho, Portugal - Oct 12th - 18th
SoDak - Brookings, South Dakota - Oct 17th - 20th (again, tragically sad I can’t attend my first US showing)
Film Columbia - Chatham, New York - Oct 20th (this one I might be at!)
It’s a wondrous world to know my little product of determination will get to have new audiences in the full theater experience, and an honor to know it will play and compete against films I so greatly admire.
Here’s some of my favourite stills from the film! I’d like to have a trailer up soon but I’m without all of the software or a computer capeable of working on the beast. This is what I get for deciding to wait for new computers and processor models to come out.
